MSIG recently hosted another Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminar for our valued business partners on 13th October 2016. The 5-hour session covered two important topics: Cyber Liability & Data Protection, and Forwarders’ Liability insurance.

We had more than 100 attendees at the seminar and received excellent feedback: 90% of the respondents rated the programme as "Excellent/Very Good", and more than 80% said they would recommend it to their colleagues.

The audience was particularly appreciative of master mariner and maritime loss adjuster, Captain Lee Fook Choon, who comprehensively discussed the business case for the rising demand of freight forwarders’ liability insurance, and also the risk controls issues. As someone with both freight industry and insurance experience, Capt. Lee's insights were very valuable. The presentation and illuminating case studies delivered by DUAL & Charles Taylor highlighted the essential need for Cyber Liability & Data Protection insurance as part of every company's business continuity planning.

We try hard to make our CPD seminars as practical as possible to make best use of the time available: over 80% of respondents described the event as "Exactly the right fit" for them.
