MSIG x Time Auction: Soap Upcycling Workshop

As part of Time Auction's Eco-Community Month 2026, we recently hosted a “Soap Upcycling Workshop” in collaboration with the non-profit organisation Soap Cycling (再皂福). More than 40 volunteers, including 12 from MSIG, 13 volunteers from peer companies and 18 of our amazing elderly neighbours, spent the morning recycling lightly-used hotel soaps into fresh bars for those in need across Asia.

By chatting and working together, our hands managed to save 63kg of soap from landfills, reduce CO2 emissions by 78kg, and conserve 1,700 liters of water. Best of all, these reprocessed soap bars will provide clean handwashing supplies for 126 underprivileged individuals for an entire year!
