MSIG x The Green Hub Tour 2023

In continuation of our commitment to protecting biodiversity, we organised a heritage eco tour in partnership with Conservation International Asia-Pacific (CIAP) and its local green partner Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG) at the Green Hub in Tai Po last Saturday (6 May 2023).

Managed by KFBG, the Green Hub offers various sustainability conservation and low-carbon initiatives in the historic Old Tai Po Police Station. Our team of 14 MSIG Hong Kong’s colleagues, including our Deputy CEO, Mr. Hideaki Amasaki, along with their family members and friends, participated in a guided tour and herb experiences workshop, where we learned about different herbs, picked them ourselves, made herbal tea, and watched a pesto-making demonstration.

This unforgettable experience provided an excellent opportunity for us to learn more about historic building conservation, explore how we can live in a low-carbon way, and increase the awareness of biodiversity and sustainable practices.

Kudos to CIAP and KFBG for their efforts in promoting sustainable practices and arranged a series of green tours for us.
