Senior Executive / Executive, Claims (Motor & Liability)
Responsibilities
- Ensure all new claims are registered properly and promptly
- Set and monitor reserve adequately and timely and ensure the authority levels laid down are complied with
- Evaluate policy liabilities, verify quantum and recommend settlement in accordance with Company's underwriting/claims policy and reinsurance practice
- Settle and handle motor and liability claims effectively and efficiently in accordance with company guidelines, policy terms, claims instructions and procedures
- Keep close monitoring on development of claims files and take appropriate follow-up actions
- Liaise with claims adjusters and solicitors when necessary
- Provide quality and professional claims service to customers
- Identify and maximize subrogation/salvage recovery and collect overpayments and assist the salvage disposition or other recovery legal proceedings where necessary

Requirements
- Degree holder, preferably with progress in professional insurance examinations
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Personal Lines insurance claims, with focus on motor claims is a must
- Excellent customer services, negotiation and communication skills
- Self-motivated, customer–oriented, willing to take up responsibility and a good team player
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Executive
